Being creative can bring the "curse" of idea overload. Ideamapping™ is a non-linear way of organizing your thoughts and notes. Adapt your recordkeeping to the way that you think, instead of cramping your style. This visual note-taking and brainstorming method is a fun, easy way to get your thoughts out of your head and on paper.

Chris Welsh is president of Mastery of Learning®, an international education and consulting company he founded more than 20 years ago. Chris began his unique research and development of non-traditional learning techniques in 1969 while training killer whales and dolphins for the U.S. Navy in Hawaii and earning a black belt in aikido.

I met Chris almost 20 years ago. I was recovering from two strokes at age 40. And the recovery process was not going fast enough for me. I wanted to get my mind working again. A colleague told me about this “weird workshop” about learning. Since I was known for "cutting edge" learning events, she said I would probably like it. She also said that Chris and worked with a woman who had closed head injuries from car crash. That got my attention. There’s more to the story but that should tell you that he is indeed a master of learning.
